Every now and then you run into a situation where you have a map that is missing a file, you search all over the net and the only one you find is a .uz file on some re-direct server. Fear not, get it and follow the instructions below to uncompress the file and use it anyhow!!! This is based on Windows XP. Copy the compressed .uz file that you want to uncompress into your C:UnrealTournamentSystem folder. Then click your Start button on the bottom left of windows, select Run. In the Command box type in "cmd" without the " " and click OK. You will see black DOS window appear with a blinking cursor, type "cd" without the " " then hit(Enter) This will bring you back to the root directory C:> Next go to the UT system directory by typing "cd C:UnrealTournamentSystem" then hit (Enter) Or change it to the proper path to reflect the directory where you installed it. Next type "ucc decompress C:UnrealTournamentSystemfilename.u.uz" without the " " Change filename.u.uz to the filename of the actual file you are trying to uncompress. ie...ucc decompress C:UnrealTournamentSystemRomanPack.u.uz The above is for a .u file, it may be a .umx.uz or a .utx.uz .etc., depending on the type of file. Now go and remove the .uz and whatever file you just created and put them in their proper places.
