We have added another new map!!

BK and Tomcat have worked long and hard to create another new map for their clan, this one has a real StarGate feel to it as far as how the gate and dialer works. There is also a few hidden spots and suprises for those who find them.

Stealth Translocator

Cynical Modder has created a new Translocator that looks slightly different from the original and that has steath capability. It fires fast, and has no sound, as well as no blue swirly when you appear, and the disc has no light on it to give it's location away. This enables you to sneak up on people very stealthy and easy. It is also highly configurable within the ini file that has been included. We have put this in the members only section as an added bonus for our loyal members who have taken the time to sign up and support our efforts.

I added a list of all files on a clean install of UT Game of the Year Edition and upgraded with ver 436 patch, and with the bonus packs installed. This should help players and admins know which files to keep when doing a cleanup.

BK and Tomcat created a new UT99 Monopoly map for their clan. It has a lot of fun stuff built in to make it play a bit like the real Monopoly game.

Wow, as of September 1, 2006 UTPad is a year old, Happy Birthday UTPad. We started this site as a way of connecting UT Players, mappers, modders etc. together in one place. It has been a resounding success so far. I wish to thank all of you for helping make it what it is and will hopefully become. With many ut99 sites drying up and dropping by the wayside, we wanted to supply players and mappers etc., with the tools needed to keep this great game running and fresh. It's too bad that the creators of the game would not ask what players would like to see in the new versions, they may actually get someplace. They should just update the graphics a bit and improve UnrealEd, add some of the tools and mods that were made by people and leave the fluid gameplay alone. As well as the teleporter, and hook. Add new planes, and helicopters, cars, but build it all around what we are all used to playing. Anyhow, long live UT99, it is all of us that keep it going and so far nothing compares to it. Once again, thanks to all who participate in keeping our beloved game alive and rolling strong.

This just in from csports.net... "We'll be back in September!" Good news for those who've been following the saga of CSports! They have the info on their homepage and it looks like they're re-doing everything and making it available free of charge to everyone! Customers who have paid will get a pro-rated refund (see their web site/forums for the details)! The launch is in early September with the new servers and websites. Follow the link above and check out the website and forums for updates and info. I think it'll be great to see it all come together again. They provide a great service to us gamers. Anthchecker Language Fix's, Anthchecker problems with localized versions of UT !!!!

After the recent anti-cheat software update, the minority of people using localized (non-English) versions of UnrealTournament may potentially be unable to connect to some servers due to differences in Female2Voice.uax file sizes.
