This is pretty easy. Ok, on the left side thier should be a 3D cube picture, click on that to make a basic wireframe of a square. But what about all the other shapes around the 3D Square pic? Those are to make other shapes... But we will talk about that later. Ok, so how do you make walls, roofs, and floors for the square? Click on the little button that looks like a picture of trees and a sun. (or something like that.) This should bring up the textures menu. If you don't like the textures "Botpack" gives you, then click open and select another texture pack. Once you click on your favorite texture, click a button at the bottom left hand corner of the screen where you should see a small 2D blue square overlapping a green square, the bottom left corner of the blue square has a red L look over it. Click that and presto! You have just made your own room. Now, right click the roof of your room and click where it says: Add a light. Finally, go to the top of the toolbar and click a little square and a lightbulb in the pic. This will build your map. ALWAYS CLICK THAT BEFORE SAVING OR TESTING A MAP!!!
STEP 2. ADDING WEAPONS
Ok first, click the button at the top that looks like a chess piece. This will bring up the Actor menu. Then click the plus sign next to actor and this will open the dropdown menu. Click the plus sign on inventory and then click the plus sign on Weapon this will dropdown unreal weapons, but then click the plus sign next to Tournament Weapon. This will give you the weapons that you can put into your world. Click any weapon that you like (not twice unless you know how to code!) then minimize the actor browser and right click where you would like to place your weapon. Then select add (example: Shockrifle). And there it is!
STEP 3. FINISHING TOUCHES
You may want to add more lights in your map to make it brighter. Or mabye experiment with the actors. But if not, open Actor Browser (the chess piece) and click the plus next to: Navigation Point then click Player start once. Close the actor browser. Right click where you want to start your level at and click add Playerstart you can put as many player starts as you like. Finally, click the lightbulb and square and click the button that looks like a controller to play it!
