For all the people who have ever played on Punkys Funky Funhouse and wondered what has happened to it and Punky, I have great news: Punky is alive and well! He was required to take some time to relax for health reasons. But the other night he showed up on the <lol>Clan server and it was the first time in a year or so I have talked with him. It was great to hear from him again, as he is more or less a UT Icon; he has self funded, made mods, and had a truly unique server for so many people over the years to enjoy. Many people I know once they hit Punkys as well as myself never went anywhere else after, it was that much fun.

Most of the <lol>Clan was made up of Punky's fans, we now have our own server which has a real Punky flavour to it, with an <lol> twist or two. I just wanted to share with anyone who used to play there, and wondered what had happened and the reason things went the way they did. So many of us owe him a great thanks for all the fun times he has so generously provided for us all. He is a very caring person with a good view on what humanity should be. He has always been helpful to many people he would encounter on his server, and through his efforts kept many of us dutifully addicted to the game we all love. On behalf of <lol> and all the people who have played loyally on his server, I wish him many more happy years to come. Good to see you again Punky.
